Journal of Engineering Research Innovation and Scientific Development (JERISD), is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Engineering, Delta State University, Oleh Campus Nigeria. JERISD publishes original research papers in the field of environmental science, engineering, and technologies.
Title: It should clearly indicate the content of the article. The title shouldn't contain any acronyms.
Authors and their addresses: They should come after the title with a footnote that includes the author’s affiliation and email address. The corresponding author should be identified by using an asterisk (*). The Journal follows the policy of a double-blind review system; hence, the Title Page, including Titles and Authors and their addresses, should be submitted as a separate file.
Abstract: The aim of the paper, the novelty of the work, and the key findings should all be briefly stated in the abstract (no more than 250 words). Authors are encouraged to refrain from using acronyms.
Keywords: Just immediately after the abstract, you are required to provide up to five (5) keywords.
Abbreviations
Include a footnote on the article's first page that defines any abbreviations that aren't common in this field. The footnote and the first mention of any such abbreviations in the abstract must both include definitions. Make sure all of the abbreviations are used consistently.
Tables and Figures: Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals (Table 1 and Figure 1). Tables must have a brief, descriptive title. Figures should have captions. The content of figures and tables should not be duplicated. Figures and tables must be placed in related locations in the manuscript.
Units
Use the international system of units (SI) and abide by rules and conventions that are recognized globally. Please provide the SI equivalent of any other units if they are specified.
Math formulae
Mathematical formulae should be prepared as editable text, not as images. When it's possible, provide straightforward formulas in line with regular text. Any equations that need to be displayed independently from the text (if they are expressly mentioned in the text) should be numbered sequentially.
Introduction: TYou are required to provide sufficient background on the work with a reasonable number of recent works relevant to your study. You should, however, refrain from a detailed literature survey and a summary of the results.
Materials and Methods: TSufficient information should be provided so that the work may be reproduced. Methods that have already been published should be referenced.
Results and Discussion:Provide in clear terms your Results and Discussion.
Conclusion: The main conclusion of the work must be presented in a short Conclusion section.
Acknowledgements: This should be put together before the references at the end of the article.
References: The Journal uses the APA style of referencing, in which the author's last name and the year of publication are inserted in the actual text of the paper. A list of references should include every work that is cited in the text, and vice versa. When referencing citations in the text, if the author's name occurs in the text, it should be immediately followed by the publication year enclosed in parentheses.
Example: Wang (2023)
If the author's name is not in the text, insert the last name, comma, and year in parenthesis
Example: The study on enzyme catalysis (Wang, 2023)
A reference list includes only those references that were actually cited in the text of one's paper. Typical citations are illustrated below:
